Matilde Poggi, a winemaker in Cavaion Veronese (Veneto, Italy), in the Bardolino production area, was born into the family vineyard where she has been working with passion since 1984. Since 2013, Matilde Poggi has served as the President of the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers (FIVI). Over the past few years, she has been dedicated to uniting Italian independent winegrowers. Today, the FIVI has 1,300 members. Matilde was elected President of CEVI in 2021.

Roman Moret comes from a winegrower family in Tautavel, South of France. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Political Science from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and a Master’s degree in European Union Studies from Leiden University. Before joining CEVI, Roman worked in Paris at the Association Nationale des Elus de la Vigne et du Vin. Roman speaks French and English.
