Samuel Masse, a winemaker in Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel (Hérault, France), was born into the family vineyard where he has been working with passion since 2012. Since 2021, Samuel has served as the Vice-President of the French Federation of Independent Winegrowers. Over the past few years, he has been dedicated to represent the Vignerons Indépendants de France on EU matters. Samuel was elected President of CEVI in 2025.
Policy Adviser
Roman Moret comes from a winegrower family in Tautavel, South of France. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Political Science from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and a Master’s degree in European Union Studies from Leiden University. Before joining CEVI, Roman worked in Paris at the Association Nationale des Elus de la Vigne et du Vin.
We have many challenges ahead of us, first and foremost the defence of the fruit of our labour: wine, an agricultural product with a cultural value that has always been at the heart of the Mediterranean diet.
